ZXZW is the annual celebration of independent culture, held in the city of Tilburg - The Netherlands. Expect a diverse view on indie culture, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. ZXZW brings more than 200 cutting edge artist in an intimate context to an international audience. Black metal next to free jazz. Street art next to academic dance.
This summer the legendary Sun Ra Arkestra will be special guest at the ZXZW-festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands. From September 15 untill 21 (except for the 19th) the Sun Ra Arkestra will be band-in-residence, performing works from a different period every other day! Besides that there will be SunRa films, the “Tapestries from an Asteroid: Arkestra Art & Design 1956-1975” exhibition, lectures and more.
